Preparation: Understanding The Value of ISO 9001

This basic quality management system is designed to apply to industries of any size, anywhere in the world. It prescribes systematic control of activities and processes, to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met. Today, customers demand quality and expect that suppliers proactively comply with the highest product and service standards.
You may find that you are required to be certified to a particular quality standard like ISO, to be a part of your customers supply chain. Obtaining ISO 9001 certification, will give you the framework to consistently produce high quality products and services for your customers and thereby compete in Fortune 500 supply chains.
Implementation: Developing Your Quality System
To become ISO 9001 certified you will need to learn about the many requirements of the standard and how they apply to your business. Some of the steps involved in implementation include conducting a gap analysis, establishing quality objectives, creating process diagrams and developing documentation, such as a quality management system (QMS) manual. Staff training and a pre-certification audit are also involved in implementation.
A company must be independently audited and certified to be in conformance with the standard, before it can publicly state it is ISO 9001 certified. This certification is completed by a third-party, known as a registrar. BIZPHYX does not certify or register you to ISO 9001. We prepare you for this certification.
